Minerama – Fossicking Gem and Jewellery Show (2027)

Presented by the Glen Innes Severn Council and local volunteers, the Minerama Fossicking, Gem and Jewellery Show is one of the largest annual specialised gem and outdoor adventure markets in New South Wales. Taking place from Friday, 12th March to Sunday, 14th March 2027 at the Glen Innes Showground (Torrington Street, Glen Innes, NSW), the three-day event features an extensive range of indoor and outdoor trade stalls offering gemstone rough, cabochons, fine jewellery, crystals, fossils, lapidary equipment, and specialised tools.
The Venue is approximately a seven-hour drive from Sydney or a five-hour drive from Brisbane.
A variety of food and refreshment stalls will be available onsite.
Camping sites will be available at the venue. Bookings are essential.

Tickets & Entry
- Daily Pass: $5.00 per person, per day.
- Three-Day Pass: $10.00.
- Children: Free entry for those aged 16 years and under when accompanied by a paying parent or guardian.
- Payment Note: Entry is by cash only at the gate.

Camping Costs and Arrangements
On-site camping is directly associated with the event and forms a major part of the Minerama experience for both traders and visitors, utilizing the extensive grounds of the historic Glen Innes Showground.
- For Event Traders: Camping fees are integrated directly into the event setup. Minerama offers a discounted trader camping rate (historically around $25 per day) which is invoiced alongside official trader site fees for the core event nights.
- For General Visitors and Public Attendees: Visitors wishing to camp on-site must arrange their bookings through the Glen Innes Showground (either online via gleninnesshowground.com or by contacting the showground caretaker directly). Standard showground camping rates include powered/unpowered options, excellent amenities (hot showers, toilets, and RV waste disposal), and pet-friendly provisions.
