The Inverell Gem and Craft Show 2026
Presented by the Inverell and District Lapidary Club Inc., the Inverell Gem and Craft Show 2026 is a premier event for lapidary enthusiasts, gem hunters, and craft collectors. Taking place from Friday, 9th October to Wednesday, 14th October 2026 at the Inverell Lapidary Centre (McIlveen Street, Inverell, NSW, 2360), visitors can explore historic mineral fields, fossick for crystals, honey citrine, rhodonite, diamonds, fossils, marble, serpentine, jasper, and tourmaline, or purchase unique personal specimens from traders. Traders operate from the 9th to the 11th of October, field trips run from the 11th to the 14th, and Open House events continue through the 14th.

Event Schedule & Program
Thursday, 8th October 2026: Setup day.
Friday, 9th October 2026: Doors open at 8:00 AM. Traders start. Meet and Greet in the Clubhouse with meals served from 6:30 PM ($25.00 includes sweets, tea or coffee, and a lucky door prize), followed by an Auction at 8:00 PM.
Saturday, 10th October 2026: Gem and Craft Show continues at the Clubhouse. Field trip information available on-site.
Sunday, 11th October 2026: Gem and Craft Show continues with catering, on-site fossicking, and the First Field Trip.
Monday, 12th October 2026: Open House, catering, trading, on-site fossicking, and the Second Field Trip.
Tuesday, 13th October 2026: Open House, catering, trading, on-site fossicking, and the Third Field Trip.
Wednesday, 14th October 2026: Open House, catering, trading, the popular Mystery Tour, and Brag Night with meals served from 6:30 PM before closing.
Special Features and Events
- Club ‘For Sale’ Section: Open every day during the event.
- Field Trips: Tag-along day tours leaving from the Lapidary Clubhouse grounds (McIlveen Street). Please register from 7:30 AM for an 8:30 AM sharp departure. Tour cost is $10.00 per person. Participants should bring water, food, and personal medical requirements.
- Mystery Tour: Held on Wednesday, 14th October.
